From the Artistic Director: Peter Ellenstein
Welcome to the William Inge Center for the Arts, Southeast Kansas' premiere professional arts resource, home of the Internationally renowned William Inge Theatre Festival. We hope you will join us for the 28th William Inge Theatre Festival, April 22-25, 2009 when we honor Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt (creators of "The Fantasticks," I Do!, I Do!", " 110 in the Shade," and many other musicals. This new website was designed for ease of use, so please contact us with any suggestions or problems. While still incomplete, we will be adding to it very quickly. The Inge Center has become one of the leading rural arts organizations in the nation, offering year-round cultural programming, arts and arts education training, and participatory events and workshops. While we specialize in playwright training and support, we offer programs in almost every art form. We are very pleased to be the home of the ICC Fine Arts Programs.  [continued]
