From the Artistic Director: Peter Ellenstein

Welcome to the William Inge Center for the Arts, Southeast Kansas' premiere professional arts resource, home of the Internationally renowned William Inge Theatre Festival. We hope you will join us for the 29th William Inge Theatre Festival, April 21-24, 2010 when we honor Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and playwriting teacher extraordinaire, Paula Vogel.

The New York Times reports on the "lost" Inge plays that have recently been released:

The Inge Center has become one of the leading rural arts organizations in the nation, offering year-round cultural programming, arts and arts education training, and participatory events and workshops. While we specialize in playwright training and support, we offer programs in almost every art form. We are very pleased to be the home of the ICC Fine Arts Programs.  [continued]
