Takes Center Stage Friday April 24
You never know what rare theatre memorabilia will pop up at the Gala Dinner Raffle and Silent Auction....in a past year, a donated item included a certificate for nomination for a Tony Award!
Featuring fine dining with our guest artist performers and breath-taking live entertainment, it is no wonder that the Gala Dinner is a long-time favorite of Inge Festival patrons, both local and long-distance.
Advance reservations are necessary—April 10 is the deadline—and seating is always at a premium. The Gala Dinner itself is Friday, April 24, with cocktails starting at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.
Another highlight of the evening is an unusual treat—the Raffle and Silent Auction that features prized theatrical memorabilia. Festival patrons never know year-to-year what treasures are available for the bidding: anything from autographed scripts and posters to actual Tony Award nominee plaques. The items are donated by many current and past special guests.
The raffle and silent auction is a fund-raiser for the William Inge Festival Foundation, which helps support the year-round activities of the William Inge Center for the Arts.
Theatrical magic transforms the Independence Civic Center into the perfect festive atmosphere. At the cocktail hour and dinner, citizens have an extended opportunity to engage with dozens of special guest artists and honorees.
Following dinner, entertainment is provided by the wonderfully talented Inge Festival guest artists.
Again, Gala Dinner tickets must be reserved by Fri. April 10 by 5 p.m.
