College Workshop Exchanges

Inge Festival Playwrights-in-Residence (fall 2002), Marcia Cebulska and Colin Denby Swanson flank visiting Guest Artist, the late John Henry Redwood, during his visit to the Inge Festival.

The Inge Festival welcomes partnerships with regional colleges and universities.  In addition to our annual 24-hour play festival where students and faculty from many area universities and colleges converge on Independence for 24 hours of theatrical madness, we also loan out our playwrights-in-residence and other guest professionals.

If your college is interested in having one of our visiting playwrights do a short residency on your campus for up to three days, to teach workshops or comment on scripts or productions, or to have Festival Director Peter Ellenstein or one of our guest artists visit your campus to conduct workshops, please call the Festival office (800) 842-6063 x4216.
