Margo Jones Medal Named for
Margo Jones (the Texas Tornado) who championed regional theatre and
the development of new plays throughout the United States. This
award is given to someone who personifies the spirit of Margo Jones
and her commitment to new work. From 1989 through 2001 the Inge
Festival was pleased to act as host for the presentation of the
awards. Currently the award is being presented at the Eugene
O'Neill Theatre Conference.
