Purpose of the Inge Festival Foundation

The William Inge Festival Foundation was started in 1987 to help financially maintain the William Inge Theatre Festival and to ensure its growth. Founded in 1982, the Festival has gained national recognition and prominence and has honored some of the world's finest playwrights.

The Inge Festival Foundation continues to grow and build a fund that will ensure the continuance of the Inge Festival and sustain it for many years to come. Through careful investment of the endowment monies, the Festival hopes to build a corpus that will ensure on-going funding for this outstanding theatre event. Individual support, along with grants and corporate giving, help provide for the success of the yearly Festival and also for the Inge Festival’s continued success into the next century.

Giving to the Inge Festival Foundation

We encourage you to give a tax deductible gift to the annual Festival Foundation Drive. If you are a new contributor, we want you to know how important your gift is to the success of this outstanding event. Remember, no gift is too large or too small.
